“My current paintings are an interaction and collaboration of mood, light and shadow within contemporary dancers physical mingling. Touching, emerging and the use of negative space creating tension and an almost brooding eroticism. It’s an evolving exploration in a restricted pallet. Normally a portrait artist I decided to break free of those commission based images and try to give back something of me, equally a work in progress.”
